Aleksandra Nemet (b.1986 in Belgrade) graduated the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula, Croatia, where she lives and works. She has been painting since her early childhood, where she uses her fantasies to paint. She most often finds inspiration in the beauty and strength of the female body, which she uses as a medium for transmitting emotions. Her works are mainly concentrated on depicting pure movement devoid of the literalness of the face.

She believes that a realistic portrait or clothing gives the canvas character, instead her paintings are a whirlpool of free feelings in which an individual can find a part of himself.

With a naked human body used like a bait, she tries to gain the viewer's attention in order to "trick" him with much more valuable message (her truth) and awaken his truth.

The body is, as in reality, just a superficial wrapper of something much deeper and more significant. Erotic is something that inspires her because of freedom and the skill of passion to take off our masks at its peak and show us who we are. The world is divided into external: governed by rules and schedules, rarely creative and internal - the much more honest one where only the universes are borders. Her paintings are a sweet rebellion against the "imposed upon others". It is her inner world made of dreams, fantasies, feelings, seduction and the inevitable truth that she transfers to the canvas and thus brings it to reality.
